Hi Guys,
A number of events coming up. Champion Lakes is having another Invitation Day for 10 Raters. This will be on Sunday 3rd October, with racing commencing at 10am. There will be 2 courses, 1 for current 10 Raters, and another for the 'Classics'. So, if you have either one, dust em off and get down there. Full details at www.rsawa.asn.au
10 Rater State Championships will be held at Champion Lakes 2 weeks later, on Sunday 17th October. Details and online entries should be available shortly at www.rsawa.asn.au
IOM State Championships will be over 2 days, 30 & 31 October, at Champion Lakes. Online entries open now at www.rsawa.asn.au

A change of format this year and an emphasis on numbers and sailing paid dividends for those that participated at Jackadder Lake on Sunday. The weather was fine and warm. The wind settled in from the west at around 5 to 10 knots.
Proceedings started amicable, although a bit tense for the organisers as Alwyn went missing temporarily with the dingy and motor. Cheers on arrival, the dingy was launched and Graeme set a course into the northerly breeze - 2 laps of a trapezoid.

Yachting WA presents the 2010 Winter Lecture Series - every Wednesday evening from July 7 till September 8. These lectures are held at various Yacht Clubs around Perth starting at 7.00pm till 8.00pm. Entry to these lectures is free of charge. Perth Radio Sailing Club Honorary Member, Garry Deane will talk on the Racing Rules of Sailing on Wednesday 25th August at Royal Perth Yacht Club.
