The 2010 Annual General Meeting of the Perth Radio Sailing Club was held at the Z-Cafe on Wednesday 26 May 2010.

We are pleased to announce that the "Eric Fisher Clubman of the Year" award was presented to Denton Roberts. Denton has contributed greatly to the club over the past 12 months, both in terms of participation, assistance to fellow members, as well as holding a supply of fittings, masts etc. The club is grateful to Denton for his contributions.

Treasurer:  Hub Bell

Measurer:  Roger Paul

Assistant Measurers: Graham Howie, Allan Beer.

A motion nominating Doug Baird as a special member of PRSC was passed unanimously. Doug has provided exceptional assistance to PRSC members covering a wide range of areas, including boat design, manufacture of plugs, moulds, boats and appendages. Doug's knowledge of materials and processes is unsurpassed by local members, and he has always been willing to share his knowledge with fellow members, to the betterment of Radio Sailing.

 The reports of the Commodore, Vice Commodore and Secretary all paid tribute to the way in which club members all work together for the promotion and improvement of the club.

The Treasurers report indicated that the club was in a sound financial position, and that club fees did not need to alter. Members are reminded that annual fees are now due.

Non-sailing members = $45
Reciprocal members = $25

Alwyn Jarman tabled a document relating to local sailing instructions. This document will be forwarded shortly for discussion.

There was discussion relating to the future of PRSC. In particular, the way that the club manages issues relating to larger numbers of skippers attending commanded significant discussion. The thoughts of members are called for, and a discussion paper will be composed.

We enjoyed a good meal and some interesting discussion. It was suggested that we hold a few more social events like this in the future.
