It is an idyllic view and, despite the salt water, is turning out to be a reasonable alternative. It is located on the lee of the Pelican Point promontory which does shelter the bay from the typical south westerlies but the flukey wind shifts are no worse than Jackadder. The only downside is the lack of shade on the beachfront but with winter coming, that is not an issue. Readily available toilets and fresh water for washing down the boats adds to the enjoyment of getting back to sailing again.
